GDPR Awareness Training

This course introduces the key requirements of GDPR for organisations. It explains what kinds of data are protected, the roles of Data Controllers and Processors, and the principles of lawfulness and accountability. Learners will also explore the rights of staff, service users, and the public under GDPR. Finally, the course offers practical tips for safeguarding data and guidance on what to do in case of a data breach.

E-Safeguarding 2025

Welcome to the Irish Red Cross 2025 eSafeguarding Course.

Please note that we are moving to in-person safeguarding training.  The online course is a good introduction to safeguarding, but the in-person course provides an opportunity to develop key safeguarding skills and tools, in a supported learning environment. This online course will only certify your safeguarding training for one-year whereas the in-person course provides three-year certification. Please insure you attend in-person safeguarding training as soon as possible, but no later than 12 months after completing this course. In person courses are advertised thought your branch or contact mkelly@redcross.ie for more information.
