You will learn to recognise safeguarding concerns, respond appropriately, record information accurately, and report issues sensitively. This training builds the confidence and skills you need to fulfil your safeguarding responsibilities.

eSafeguarding
Purpose: Designed for new adult members, existing Youth members turning 18, and new employees. This course introduces safeguarding within the Irish Red Cross and supports you as you begin your adult volunteering journey or employment with Irish Red Cross.
Validity: The certificate is valid for one year.
Requirements:
Current Irish Red Cross membership or employment.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
Course restriction: The eSafeguarding course can only be completed once. Members must complete In-Person Safeguarding Awareness Training (valid for three years) within 12 months of joining or turning 18.
